While I don't like to be an alarmist, and this is an old one, but it's that favorite time of the year for burglars,
and looks like they're back in some neighborhoods.

These markings have been seen in certain neighborhoods in San Jose, so keep
a lookout for yourselves and your neighbors, and report anything to the police.
There is an iPhone and Android app called TipSubmit that allows you to submit
suspicious activity anonymously.
