The agency created 100,000 last year-30% of the city's total new jobs. They are not only responsible for creating jobs, but also retaining existing ones.

Took the Naglee Park Home Tour today and no surprise-there are some
fabulous historic homes in this neighborhood. What I didn't know is that around the turn of that century, homeowners were
taxed on rooms, so the powers that be considered a closet another room, hence more taxes. This is why their closets
were so small. Always wondered where they put their stuff! Learn something new everyday...

This graph shows homes placed on the market for each month during the past year. Central San Jose, with it's wide of styles and locations, has seen a lot of foreclosures and short sales, hence the higher inventory levels.
